If the name sounds familiar but you can’t quite place the face, its because she is not only an awesome pastor, but she is also my wife. She will officially join us at the porch on December 13th, so make sure you mark that date on your calendars so you can welcome her into the tribe!

Which day are you living for?

Spirituality is about the experience of transcendence. Transcendence is the experience that points us to the infinite, the eternal – it describes the nature of God. And this experience should give us some simple (not easy) guidance for the path our lives’ take.

When you make your decisions, are you living for today? Are you living for tomorrow? Or are you living for the final day.

Think about it. When you make your next purchase, sleep with the next guy/gal, smoke the next cigarette, pick your next class… Is this a decision about what is meaningful the first day, or the final day?

What is meaningful on the first day is different than what is meaninful on the final day. So the real question is, which day are you living for?

Hi all, I just wanted to thank everyone for the hugely positive response to last weeks message on the gospel of inclusion. The grace principle makes a lot of sense to both the mind and the soul, and I’m glad so many of you were into it.
